- Arrival. Come a little early to fill in any paperwork without feeling rushed. Free, unmetered parking is available right outside, with no time limit.
- A warm welcome. The reception team, including Sandie, greets you and introduces you to the rest of your care team for the visit.
- Getting to know you. Your dentist talks through your health history, dental goals, and anything on your mind.
- Examination. Your dentist checks your teeth, gums and mouth carefully. X-rays may be taken for a fuller picture, using in-house digital imaging, including an OPG (panoramic X-ray) where needed.
- Your treatment plan. Once your dentist has assessed your needs, they talk you through a tailored plan and answer any questions. You receive this in writing, with costs, before any treatment goes ahead.
- Clean and tips. If a clean is scheduled for the visit, the hygienist takes care of it and shares oral hygiene tips suited to you.
- Follow-up. Before you leave, the team helps book any follow-up visits and gives you pointers for looking after your smile at home.
What Should You Bring to Your First Appointment?
