St Ives Smiles Dentistry is a dental practice at 7/160 Warrimoo Ave, St Ives NSW, offering general, cosmetic and emergency dental care to the local community. Previously known as Dr Bentley Sacks' Dental Surgery, we are a long-standing dental practice of over 30 years servicing the area of St Ives.
Patients arrive to free, unmetered parking outside the door. Appointment times run from early weekday mornings through to Saturdays by request. Whatever brings someone in, from a child's first check-up to a same-day emergency, the aim is dental care that fits into a busy St Ives week without a fuss.

Gentle, family-focused care at St Ives Smiles means unhurried appointments for every age, from a child's first check-up to a parent's next crown. Children's check-ups sit on the same day sheet as fillings, crowns and root canal treatment for adults, so the practice sees patients through school years and everything after.
Anyone who feels anxious about a visit has options. Nitrous oxide ("happy gas") and oral sedation are administered in-house, and IV sedation is available too, in partnership with a visiting sedationist for more involved procedures.

Meet Our Team
Two dentists look after clinical care at St Ives Smiles: Dr Jeremy Hockey, who holds FICOI, and Dr Bentley Sacks, who continues practising at the clinic. Oral Health Therapist Ms Theresa Tran-Nguyen handles ongoing hygiene and maintenance visits, working alongside a small team of dental assistants and reception staff.

In the Community
Since 2023, the sponsorship has made St Ives Smiles a Gold Sponsor of St Ives Football Club, and the practice's logo appears on the development squad's training shirts. St Ives Smiles also sponsors the club's gala events. Beyond the football club, the team visits local early learning centres to run children's oral health sessions on brushing technique and tooth-friendly food choices. The goal is simple: help children feel more comfortable about visiting the dentist later on.
